Renewed, refreshed, redesigned: major update out now!

I first launched Ellis Brown Photography in May 2024. At the time, it featured just fourteen albums and had limited functionality - but vitally, the foundations were set. Over time, I gradually added to and improved upon my work with new albums and new pages.
Today, I'm delighted to share my biggest update yet to ellisbrownphotography.com.
Thirty albums
My goal of sharing my photos through photo albums is to highlight the incredible beauty, diversity and mind-blowing complexity of the natural world as well as capturing human stories and achievements.
With this November 2025 update, every album has been re-edited (in line with my commitment to authenticity) to help ensure a more consistent quality of my galleries - many existing albums have also had new photos added. Separately, albums which didn't meet my high standards have now been removed and replaced with higher quality albums...
Location albums
The Ellis Brown Photography website now features eighteen Location albums featuring nine different Western European countries.

Theme albums
As already mentioned, every album has been renewed with photos and refreshed with edits - including all twelve Theme albums. This update has also seen the 'Growth' album disbanded with the photos split into other existing albums. Taking its place, the all new Mountains album joining the existing Landscape album. As before, they are categorised as Seasons, Nature and Human.

Photography services
Over the past year, I've been providing quality photography services to local organisations - building up both my experience and portfolio. As of now, I am delighted to publish my brand-new services page showcasing some of my client work as well as other relevant personal event photography.
The new page also features a client example: Wharfedale Grassroots Association.
It highlights work from over the summer of 2025, including four photo galleries, an all-new website and promotional video for WGA.

Website design
Content isn't the only thing that matters. The way it is displayed counts too.
Thats why across all fifty+ public pages on my website - from the About page to the Blog page - I have redesigned every single one with this aim; to make them look better, work better and be more consistent with the whole site. Focusing on both the substance but also the detail.
Last but not least...
I started preparing for this update in January 2025 - I have now spent a significant amount of time on producing this website to the standard it is now.
